Privacy policy

Effective 22 August 2026. JARVIS is a private tool used solely by its owner to organise the owner's personal Gmail account.

Google data accessed

JARVIS may access Gmail message metadata, headers and limited message text needed to classify and organise email. It may read Gmail labels and, when expressly enabled, apply approved labels or remove messages from the Inbox. It does not send email, modify message content, delete messages or place messages in Trash.

How data is used

Google user data is used only to classify the owner's email, protect important messages, apply the owner's saved filing preferences, produce private local reports and perform owner-approved inbox organisation.

Storage and security

OAuth credentials are encrypted using Google Secret Manager in the owner's Google Cloud project. Local preferences, checkpoints and content-free audit records are stored privately. Message bodies are not retained as a permanent dataset. Access is restricted through least-privilege identity controls, production kill switches and guarded operations.

Sharing and external processing

JARVIS does not sell, rent or share Google user data with advertisers or data brokers. Email content is not sent to OpenAI or another external AI API. Google Cloud infrastructure is used only to run and secure this owner-operated service.

Retention and deletion

Operational preferences and sanitized audit records are retained only as needed to operate and verify JARVIS. The owner can remove the stored OAuth credential, local state and cloud resources. Gmail data remains governed by the owner's Google Account settings.

Control and revocation

The owner can disable JARVIS immediately using its kill switch and can revoke Gmail access from Google Account settings under third-party connections. Revocation prevents further Gmail API access.

Google API Services User Data Policy

JARVIS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
